Heartbreaking news...
In April of 2006, while I was immersed in the bustling fair circuit with my business, my father was courageously battling leukemia. A fellow artist, he had always been my steadfast companion at art and craft shows, offering invaluable support and serving as a trusted sounding board for my creative ideas.
For Three Years...
...he bravely fought for his life, enduring countless doctor's appointments and hospital visits. Despite his own struggles, he remained a steadfast pillar of support for me and my artwork, offering invaluable advice and unwavering encouragement. However, on October 3, 2009, my father lost his battle with leukemia, leaving behind a profound void in my life. With his passing, I not only lost my father but also the one person who truly comprehended my deep-seated passion for art. Since then, many of my designs have been infused with his spirit, serving as ongoing tributes to his memory and continuing influence on my creative journey for years to come.
The Creation...
...of the Angelic Feathers Wind Chime marked my farewell to my father, a poignant release from the weight of grief and sorrow I carried for eight long years since his passing. Words have never been my forte, nor have interactions with others. Yet, with glass, I find my voice. Transforming the depths of my pain into delicate wings and feathers, I channeled my emotions into tangible beauty. Since Dad's departure in October of 2009, I harbored that pain until March of 2017, when I finally conceived and showcased these ethereal wings on Etsy. Initially hesitant, I realized others might seek solace in the soothing melody they evoke, just as I did.
Watching Over Me
With each creation of these chimes, I sense my father's presence, much like when he stood in the doorway of my workshop, observing my craft with a quiet pride during his lifetime. The workshop echoes with his memory as I shape each piece, feeling his reassuring gaze upon me once more. This connection to him fills me with a profound sense of closeness and brings solace, a tranquility that had eluded me since his passing.
Regrettably, I've halted sales of these chimes on Etsy due to theft. It pains me deeply that someone would exploit my work for dishonest gain. Despite this setback, the price remains unchanged here, reflecting my commitment to ensuring these creations remain accessible to those seeking solace amidst grief. I steadfastly believe that everyone deserves the same comfort these wings have provided me, and I refuse to let exploitation tarnish their purpose.

Price: $485.00 (shipping included within the USA). Upon receiving your order request, an Invoice will be promptly issued for payment. Construction of your wind chime will commence upon receipt of payment. Once the invoice is settled, your wind chime will be promptly shipped.
