Frequently, I'm queried, "do you undertake custom projects?" The resounding response: YES! While pet portraits remain a popular request, I also craft bespoke windows, lamps, wind chimes, and even light boxes.
Provide a photo, and I'll fashion a unique suncatcher or window piece capturing the essence of your beloved pet in timeless stained glass! Alternatively, envision a breathtaking scene you wish to grace your window? I can bring your vision to life! Delve below for further information.
Sizes Available
For suncatchers ranging between 9" to 10" in height, pricing begins at $200. Please bear in mind that costs may slightly vary depending on the animal, but the size never goes below 9". The width is contingent upon the type of animal being depicted. It's essential to note that dogs and long-haired animals, such as cats, with intricate features like beards or flowing fur, may fall into a higher price range. This is due to the intricate detailing required to capture their unique personalities, including the meticulous arrangement of glass pieces to emulate the flow of their hair, which adds to the complexity and cost. Rest assured, I collaborate closely with you to ensure the final price aligns with your budget while maintaining the utmost likeness to your pet. Your satisfaction is paramount, and my goal is to ensure you're 100% delighted with the finished product.
Circles and Oval
- 10" Circle: Pricing begins at $250. Circles offer space for a subtle background accentuating your pet. At this size, only a colored background is feasible. Together, we'll select the ideal hue to complement your pet and decor seamlessly.
- 12" Circle: Starting at $300, this slightly larger circle provides room for a touch of background personality. Love the backdrop in your photo? Fragments of it can be integrated into this circle. Have a cherished toy or spot your pet adores? Those can be seamlessly incorporated into the background as well.
- 14", 16", and 18" Circles: Prices start at $400 for the 14", $550 for the 16", and $800 for the 18". These larger circles are perfect for featuring two pets (the largest size accommodates up to three pets) or highlighting intricate background details. Does your pet revel in your flowerbeds or splash around in the baby pool? These expansive circles beautifully capture such delightful nuances.
- 12"x16" Oval: Starting at $500, the oval shape caters to those who prefer non-circular designs or favor a more portrait-like aesthetic. While the background remains a single color, selecting glass with intricate color blends can result in a breathtaking backdrop that enhances the overall composition.et love to sit in your flowerbeds? - 12"x16" Oval starts at $500)- oval works well for those that don't like circles or like a more portrait kind of look. Background would be one color, however choose a glass that has several colors mixed in it and your background can be rather breathtaking!
Free Size
Custom Size Option: Enjoy the freedom of design without the constraints of traditional shapes. Pricing varies significantly based on the intricacy and size of the design. Your chosen measurements dictate the dimensions, but the design itself is not confined to a circle or square; it remains "free," allowing for a more organic, natural appearance in the final piece. Ideal for large picture windows, this option offers limitless possibilities for personalized stained glass creations.
Squares and Rectangles
For square or rectangular window sizes (prices vary significantly based on design and size), I accommodate windows of any dimensions. Simply provide your measurements alongside your photo. The background from your photo will be utilized unless an alternate background is preferred. If desired, two photos can be merged for a cohesive composition. Additionally, hanging loops and chains can be omitted if framing or installation is preferred.
Light Box
Light Box: Starting at $1000, this light box measures approximately 11" wide, 8.5" tall, and 4" deep. The design can adorn either the front surface alone, both the front and back, or extend to envelop the entire box per your preference. Equipped with LED lights, it emits a gentle glow akin to a night light or soft lamp, adding a subtle ambiance to any space. Larger light boxes can be constructed. Please ask for more information.
No photo? No Problem!
Struggling to provide a photo of your desired background or scene? Not to worry! Simply articulate your vision with as much detail as possible, and I'll bring it to life.
When selecting a photo, opt for a large, clear file. Choose a pose that resonates deeply with you, as the final suncatcher or window will closely resemble the chosen image. If envisioning a scenic vista, describe your ideal setting in vivid detail. Don't have a photo to send? No problem. Simply specify the size you envision for your scene, and provide as much descriptive insight as you can muster.
Pricing
*Pricing is contingent upon the intricacy of the design. To initiate the process, a non-refundable $100 deposit is requisite, serving as both the design fee and a placeholder in my queue. Payment is facilitated via an Invoice and payments accepted are PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Kindly specify your preferred payment method for the initial deposit, and the corresponding invoice will be promptly dispatched. Upon confirmation of the design, your final invoice will be generated for the same payment method used previously.
Processing
The timeframe for crafting your custom item hinges on various factors, including the duration for design and color selection agreement, the procurement of glass materials (if not readily available), and my current workload. Typically, custom pieces are completed within an approximate 8-week period. However, this timeline may vary based on the aforementioned variables. Once the design phase concludes (usually within two weeks with prompt communication), a more precise completion timeframe can be provided. Rest assured, your project will likely align with this estimated timeframe.

Within 5-10 business days of purchase, a preliminary design will be emailed to you for approval (your explicit approval is required before proceeding). Following design approval, I'll present photos of available in-stock glass for your selection, allowing you to choose the perfect hues for your piece. Should we not find a suitable match for your pet, I'll diligently search through catalogs and, if necessary, order from trusted wholesalers. Upon confirming your color choices, I'll send an email with a photo of the selected colors for your final approval. Your explicit "approved" is essential before I commence crafting your custom order. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I strive to ensure you're completely delighted with the end result.
